green is good

mmmmmm, doesn't this look so good. yeah, it tasted pretty awesome too. i swear this was an adapted giada recipe, but i can't find it anywhere. i do remember the gist of the recipe. i made an easy pesto by mixing basil, garlic, pine nuts, and extra virgin olive oil in a mini-prep food processor until the appropriate texture. i cooked the pasta in a huge pot of salted boiling water and halfway through the pasta's cook time i added the asparagus spears. i tossed the pasta and asparagus with the pesto and served with garlic bread that i fried up in olive oil then rubbed with a fresh garlic clove... um, yeah it was good as hell. super easy. super tasty. super vegan.
